How to Afford Cheerleading

Cheerleading is a very, very consuming sport. It takes a lot of time and money to commit to being on a cheer team. But money shouldn't stop you from trying your dream and doing what you love. Here's a few tips on how to afford cheerleading!

Getting a Job
The most common way to make money is having a job. There's many places out there that are willing to hire students who are 14+ years old. Assuming that you can't drive you should try to get a job within walking distance or around your house so that you can ride your bike or walk to and from work because having a job means committing and never being late.

Youthful Jobs

You can always baby sit kids in your neighborhood, or do chores around your community for a little extra cash!

Fundraise/Sponsored
You can always try getting sponsored by family members, friends, or your cheer gym. You can also ask local businesses or put cans at grocery stores asking for loose change.

If you set your mind to it you can always accomplish your dreams. If money is an issue just meet your parents half way with the cost, and make the best of your season!

Love,
A Cheerleader
